Sushi Sushi I Love You

I fall in love with japanese food when Sushi King was introduced to Malaysia since 1995.

The Sushi King chain of restaurants is specially equipped with Sushi making machines and a conveyor system. This equipment produces and displays Sushi in a hygienic environment that enables people (like me) to enjoy viewing the uniqueness of each Sushi. (Hey, Libra always like to judge something by their first impressions!)

I would always suggest to go Sushi King for dining when outing with my friends. Some of them always question me if i will be bored with the food served there. With a smile curved, i will say, NO!

I knew there are some other japanese food restaurants available but i haven't try any of them yet. Any opinions to share with me ??? Then, my poor friends may have some other choices for dining beside Sushi King that I would suggest in the future .... Haha!

~~Karaoke~~

I always like to sing karaoke after my examination weeks! it is a way to release and relax myself after Stressssssss so long !!!!

Redbox is always the popular choice. but as i stay away from all redbox outlets (as i don't have any transportation as well), karaoke seems like a luxury entertainment for me. i am extremely happy when i knew that the grow of 'Greenbox', another coloured box of 'Redbox' appeared at Jusco Cheras Selatan!

i met a lots of friendly stuffs (handsome particularly, hehe), big and nice karaoke rooms + equipments + sound effect, delicious buffet + snack + drinks, and also a room-to-room games at 11pm at night daily(if you are attending a night karaoke session) where you stand a chance to win a small prize. Please click here for more information (location, promotion, packages, student price etc).

It is hard o find a place where you can SING, PLAY, EAT and ENJOY at the same time! I am looking forward to go there again with my friends (my crazy and funny singing partners). How about you??

Climbing Mount Kinabalu

It took me days to agree to climb Mount Kinabalu as part of my trip to Sabah. Of course, you may say that I couldn't claimed myself had visited Sabah without climbing this famous mount Kinabalu. right ??? For a person that does not exercise often or not a climbing/hiking freak, it is a kind of hard decision (at least for me!). However, once i decided to climb it, I would convinced myself to CONQUER it!! (Wow!!)

I was told to bring a list of climbing equipments, climbing preparation (which is exercise or jogging). As a student, budget travel is always what I hoped for. So, maggie cup was brought as well!!! (As you know, tourism spot is always expensive for locals!! sigh ~~)

I was also brief about the 2 day climbing to the peak. Day 1, we have to wake up and start climbing early to reach Laban Rata (6 km from the starting point) before dark falls. Then, we will overnight there and start climbing even earlier, 2am the next day to reach LOW's peak(another 2.5 km) before 6am to see breathtaking sunrise from above the clouds, 13,435 feet (4095 meters) above sea level. (It surprises me when i heard that!)

Here came the day of climbing. We started off at Timpohon Gate of Summit Trail. (You may choose to start off at Mesilau trail which is an alternatif to mount Kinabalu, another 2 km more climbing distance!! for those climbing fans, go for it!!)The trail rises steadily as a series of rough, uneven steps, right up to the overnight huts at Laban Rata (3,272 meters/10,735 feet). Along the way there will be 7 shelters (pondok), where each shelter have toilets and untreated mountain water source. The shelters give the weary (me!! and my poor legs) some well earned rest at intervals and the water tanks will provide me refreshing water from time to time. It took me 7 hours to reach Laban Rata!!

I was so hungry that time and I was looking forward to eat as much as i can at Laban Rata. (As this was the only thing that made me happy and energitic along the way!)The buffet served may not as as good as nor as variety as I thought, but it filled my stomach as i wished before! It was about 7pm that time. After settle down in room and dressed nicely for the next day. then, everybody prepared to sleep around 8pm as the next phase of climb will begins at about 2am.

This was another hard time for me as my thigh muscle started to arch (due to lack of exercise/warming up before climb). Most of the time I had to hold something for stability.I managed to reach Low's Peak around 7.30am. Missed the sunrise!! (expected) However, i was happy that me myself (my hands and my legs especially) made it to the peak! Then, I started to climb down the summit, back to Laban Rata. the scene of climbing down scared me!! (can you imagine??)

When climbing down to the Timpohon Gate, i was exhausted and most of my weight fell on both of my thighs, knees and the ball of my foot. At this moment, a wood guide ('tongkat' in Malay. It costs RM3 at the Kinabalu park, RM5 at Timpohon Gate and RM10 at Laban Rata!! If you think you may need it, buy earlier!) would be very helpful! Finally, I managed to reach the Timpohon Gate at 5pm. The person-in-charged was happy to see me as they can locked the gate after i stepped out!! (oh my god!! I was the last person of my team!)

I suffered for muscular pain for 1 week after the climb. Poor me! However, it was an unforgetable journey (not to mention about my muscular pain) because of its beautiful scenery. (I found it hard to describe but worth to experience with your own.)For more information, you may check it out here.

If you are looking forward to climb it, please check and booking in advance by click here.

Enjoy life to the fullest !

Veterinarian ?

Does this 'word' arouses your curiosity? Perhaps I can give you some ideas of what it is all about, in every possible aspect that i can think of.

Who is he/she?? He/ She is someone that deals with animals when they are sick or ill. Wow!! Does it sounds interesting to you? Someone that deals with animals that do not have the ability to communicate (in human languages, of course). Have you ever wonder that he/she may has some 'magical' power that enables them to 'talk' to animals in some other ways?

What are the challenges face by a Veterinarian?? well, first of all, animals do not talk, in languages that human can understand. Thus, in order to help the animals, they are depend on their observations and owner's information (their observation towards their beloved animals in every aspect).Human Doctor learns only 'Homo sapiens' (Human) but they learn all domesticated animals (Eg, dog, cat, cattle, goat, sheep, horse, chicken, swine)!!

How long does this course will take ? 5 years, just like human doctor. Perhaps it sounds 'too long' for you. When you come to know its curriculum, you may think it is just nice to be in 5 years course.

What is all about this course?? As any other courses, you will be introduced basic courses such as anatomy, physiology, histology, embryology, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, parasitology and etc. Follow by medicine and surgery courses as you are in more senior years. Throughout this 5 years of study, you will have chances to go for practicals in any farms within Malaysia or overseas. This makes your life becomes wonderful as you have the chance of getting in touch or care with any species of animals. You wouldn't be able to do so if you are a visitor in Zoo or parks!! With all this practicals, you are free from any housemanship in government sectors after you graduate!! Opsss, not to forget that animal production, its nutrition, feeds and feeding, genetics and management are also part of the curriculum as well. (You may think 5 years are too short to cover all this now!!)

Where can I study this course?? As far as I know, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University Putra Malaysia (UPM) is the only univesity in Malaysia that provides this course. You may like to visit http://www.vet.upm.edu.my/ for more information about this course if you are interested or you may know your relatives, your friends that are interested in it.

Job opportunities??? While the majority of veterinary technicians are employed in private practice, the demand for technicians is rapidly expanding to include new employment opportunities in both human and animal health-related fields such as: Biomedical research, Colleges/Universities, Zoos and wildlife facilities, Food safety inspection, Diagnostic laboratories, Veterinary supply sales, Humane societies and animal control facilities, Drug and feed manufacturing companies, veterinary clinics and etc.

Well, that's all I can think of for the moment. Do leave me messages or comments if you have any. Then, we can share, discuss (or whatever words you like to use) about it together! Cheers ~~~~

Long time no see!!

The 2nd Low Yat Plaza.. Cheap stuff!

Now, if you have plan to buy a new computer, laptop or any related products, then you are staying in pj area. You can try to visit Digital mall. It is the second low yat in the country. It is situated to somewhere near the Tunku Abdul Rahman College at PJ. If you want to know futher, visit www.digitalmall.com.my

Why I say it is the second Low yat? The price of goods in this new computer mall is rather comparable with those shops in Low Yat. If you realize, the are quite some products that are somemore cheaper in this Digital mall. Somemore, if you are staying in PJ, you wont be able to go to KL just for anything for example servicing, upgrading parts or buy new products.

Currently, this new opened mall is having some promotion for the grand opening ceremony. If you are lucky, maybe you will get some free or discounted product in their main lobby.

I will be going to the digital mall with my housemates tomorrow right after karaoke in One Utama. Haha...

Guys, Happy Weekend!

Pursuing Accounting Profession?

Last week, two of my friends told me the same thing. "I fail my account paper". The first thing that comes up in my mind is "oh my goodness, luckily I didn't take the paper.

As you know, there are quite many accounting qualified paper that are currently available all over the world. However, different countries may adopt different types of accounting method. Now, the question is which professional accounting examination should I pursue for.

Currently, there are few popular choices. The few that myself recognised is what we have here the CPA Australia, ACCA from United Kingdom and also the CIMA from Unknown..

I would personally say ACCA is the best choice. Why? The name sounds great I think. Haha! Any friend of mine also saying the same thing. If you like to go for accounting profession, choose ACCA ACCA ACCA. But I'm still thinking about that, maybe I should really have a try on it.. Do you think so?

Shopping online?

Do you ever visit to online shopping webpage such like ebay? Now ebay is considered one of the biggest online shopping site in the region. However, youngsters like you and me may have difficulties due to the transactions are based on credit cards. They should update their system in order to accept cash-on-delivery or bank transfer like the www.lelong.com.my.

For your information, lelong is based on a bidding system. Highest bid, you'll win the items. I managed to bid an O2 Atom last year with the price that is half of market price. So lucky! You can also get your first hand product or may try those second hand with a cheap price in Lelong. Haha! Thats why I made it my favourite as one of my favorite shopping mall.

Proton MME Edition

Proton R3 Amprex won the Merdeka Millenium Endurance race as Class O champion in 2005. This was a great success for the Malaysian local car having the pride for the 1st time. Anyway, this is not my concern except the celebration of Proton by introducing the Proton Waja and Proton Gen 2 MME Edition as commemoration of their victory.

Try www.proton-edar.com.my to see the MME package. From the R3 HID Dark Titanium Headlamps until sporty R3 bodykit. Cool! Lets see what they have. These pics is from other source.

I can't believe the Nokia comes up with a Nokia N73, a stunning camera phone with 3.2 megapixels lens. A high quality camera with Carl Zeiss optics, I assume the photo quality will be up 25 x 20 cm. Haha!Oh my goodness, I'm going to buy it when I get my salary this month.

I'll try to get some photos from www.nokia.com about this N73. No matter how you look, it is nice and stylish. Just take a look.

I will go and ask for the price tomorrow. Can't wait to hold it on my hand!
